Windows Proxy

To view current proxy server settings.
Open a command prompt
Enter netsh winhttp show proxy


Use the following commands to configure proxy server settings.
Open a command prompt
Enter netsh winhttp set proxy myproxy**NOTE - myproxy is only a name, you can name the proxy what ever you choose.
Enter netsh winhttp set proxy myproxy:443 ';bar'
Enter netsh winhttp set proxy proxy-server='https=myproxy:88' bypass-list='*


Alternatively, if proxy settings have been previously configured inside of Internet Explorer, they can be imported into WinHTTP using the following command.
netsh winhttp import proxy source=ie
Proxy settings can be reset to default by entering the following command.
netsh winhttp reset proxy
